On Sunday, January 19th, I launched Thinking Beyond Your Current Circumstances on LA Talk Radio http://www.latalkradio.com/Fenella.php with my first guest Kim Crumbie, manager at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky. I felt great about the possibility of showcasing automotive employees who are thinking beyond their current circumstances. In preparation for my premiere, without planning this, I ended up spending a significant amount of time watching the Dr. King preparation events and pre-inaugural day events. It motivated me! I wanted to create a value-added radio talk show that people can learn from. Automotive industry employees are very important to our society. Their thinking and approach to innovation, continuous improvement and problem solving is different than other industries. We had a wonderful example in Kim Crumbie on yesterday's show. It was wonderful and I felt good about what we accomplished. Kim was awesome! He discussed his background and fascinating things he has accomplished at Toyota. My favorite comment was his plan to spend more time with his four girls. I loved that! Happy New Year! A brand new year means a brand new set of days to Think Beyond Your Current Circumstances. Thinking Beyond Your Circumstances means thinking about the kind of future you want. Well, what do you mean? Everything begins with a thought. What are you thinking about? Where is your mind dwelling, primarily? Take the first step to making your primary thoughts about change and transformation a reality. What do you have to lose? |
